How To Guide Your Feedback

Updated: Oct 23, 2020

If you're electing to receive feedback this year, you'll be glad to know that you can guide it yourself.

Our judges will be providing several hundred words of critique and you can request feedback on two specific items. You might say:-

  • I would like to know whether you think my main character is believable?

  • Is there too much exposition?

  • Is the dialogue realistic?

We want to give you the opportunity to get as much out of this as possible, and all you need to do is include your feedback requests on the first page of your entry, along with the title of the work. But DO NOT include your name or any identifying information as our judging is all anonymous.

Then, start your entry on the next page. Simple as that! We'll then answer your queries, give some critique, some advice, and then provide feedback on what we believe needs improvement, too.

Good luck in the competitions!
