Way back at the end of March, our Flash Fiction 500 closed. That was before our new platform even launched if you can remember it? No? Us neither, don't worry.
Our judges read and commented and sorted the best from the good, and found a shortlist of amazing work amongst all the entries we had, and from those talented writers, decided on their winners. And, without further ado, here they are, in all their glory.
-1st Place-
Gill Coombs - The Gathering
-2nd Place-
Jeanette Everson - The Stranger Who Shot My Family
-3rd Place-
Catherine Howarth - Hunter
-Shortlist-
Laura Sheridan - Disaster averted
Emma J Myatt - A Man of Means
Kevin Horsley - In Two Minds
We'll be posting their work over the coming few days, so you can see what we saw - some damn fine writing - and give your congratulations to our hard working winners. Each of them earned their place here, and in one of our fabulous publications. We can't wait to see where they go next, and what challenges and competitions they conquer hereafter.
Keep an eye peeled for their work, and names on bookshelves!
Until next time,
Dan
